Baby Sophia Arrives!

We have been long awaiting this day - On Wednesday August 28th at 7:01am Baby Sophia decided to make her entrance.  She was born 6lbs 6oz and 19" tall.  Here are a couple of pictures of her with Daddy getting warm right after she was born.

 

 

Big sister Samantha came to see her at the hospital with Grandma Teri the day she arrived.  She was so excited to meet her little sister and to hold her.  It was wonderful to see her interacting.

Sam has been a BIG helper since we came home on Friday, she loves to get diapers and wipes, and helps us feed and burp Sophia - she always wants to lend a helping hand in any way possible.  She is a great little Mommy to her little sister.

 

Samantha even shares her favorite Lion Blanket with Baby Sophia - they had playtime on the floor together.  I can't believe how much Sophia looks like Samantha when she was a newborn.  They are gonna love growing up together.

Winter Fun

We went sledding at Panthorn Park on Saturday with Bob, Steph & Gabe.  It was perfect weather, not too cold outside & the sledding hill was just right - we had a great time!

 Sammie & Gabe loved going down together in the sled.  Gabe was up front to "steer"

 

 Of course we all got in on the fun, Craig & I both rode the saucer down the hill.  It was so much fun.  We all felt like kids again.

 

 Sammie & I took a turn on the saucer too, she loved it - kept saying "Do it again Mommy!"

 

 

 This is the best picture of the day - Bob, Steph & Gabe all got on the sled together & went down. It was fantastic!

Family Hike for Papa's Birthday

Today we went for a hike with Grandma Teri and Papa Bob for Papa's birthday.  It was a beautiful day for a hike.  Nice and warm.  Sammie had so much fun exploring the leaves.

Lyman Orchards 2012

Last weekend we visited Lyman Orchards with the Dunshee's.  It was a beautiful fall day.  The sun was shining and we made some great memories.  Sammie & Gabe had lots of fun playing together.

They were a couple of hams for the camera.  Making lots of "cheese" faces. 

 

 

We took a nice walk around the grounds, got some pictures by the duck pond. 

 

 

And some pictures in the pumpkin patch too. 

 

 

 

 

We even got some corn to feed the ducks.  The kids had a great time doing that, even if most of the duck food ended up on the ground at their feet. 

 

Sammie found some sticks to play with. 

And had lots of fun jumping off the rocks. 

It was a wonderful day.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sammie!

Yesterday we celebrated Sammie's 2nd Birthday.  We had her party at Jump-n-Jammin' indoor bounce gym in Bristol.  The kids (and adults) had a great time.
