On Sunday I decided to can some of our fresh garden tomatos so we can have them in the winter! I started with a large dice & then they were lightly salted & set to drain. Here they all are just hanging out.
After drained, they got packed into the jars, lids went on & into the waterbath they went!
The tomatos got happy in the boiling water & then they came out to cool - the lids sucked in just as expected & now they're waiting in my pantry waiting to become delicious sauce.
