First we primed all the walls in the bedroom
Then we started putting on the new color, called Balmy Seas
I was expecting a calming tropical feeling bedroom, and instead we got a blue cotton candy explosion ... moving on I started on the master bath - it started out a green color called green tea and the new color is a calming periwinkle blue.
The bathroom came out so nice that it made the bedroom color unbearable, so it was back to Home Depot for a different color, but of course that decision was made AFTER we put all the furniture back and all the outlet covers back on. Sunday morning the painting started again, this time with Viking blue.
It was a HUGE improvement - it gave us the beachy feeling we were looking for.Here's the bathroom & bedroom all put back together with new paint & accessories
Since the upstairs was getting so much improvement I didn't want downstairs to feel left out so we updated the curtains in the living room & dining room
