4th of July Weekend

We had a wonderful, albeit busy, 4th of July weekend. On Friday we decided it was time for a cat door so Pepper & Cash could go use their litter when the basement door is closed. Here's the door with a hole in it... we're still working on trimming it out & adding a curtain.

On Saturday we headed down to Guilford for Craig's 30th Birthday. We did some relaxing, eating & enjoying time with friends & family.

On Sunday Craig finally got his wish, a new lawnmower with bagger! It works wonderfully & we were able to sell the old one on Craig's List for $5 less than what we bought it for a year ago! It doesn't get much better than that. While we were visiting Home Depot this morning we got some 2 x 12's to make a frame for the vegitable garden... the grass was slowly encroching into the garden & it had to be stopped. While we were at it we put a fence across the middle for the cucumbers to climb up.

Then it was time to relax, Pepper & Cash joined us on the deck to enjoy the view.
