Memorial Weekend Camping Trip
For Memorial Weekend Craig & I went camping at Housatonic Meadows State Park in Sharon, CT. We spent time hiking, swimming in the river, Craig did some fly fishing & I did lots of studying. It was perfect weather & we had a wonderful time. Bob, Steph & Gabe joined us for an overnight & Gabe enjoyed his first camping experience - especially swimming in the Housatonic River with Bob & Craig.

Another hiker offered to take a picture of the two of us - something we don't get often when we're hiking alone together.

It was an excellent weekend & Sammie officially enjoyed her first camping trip, even if it was from the warm comfort of my belly :)

On Saturday afternoon Craig & I hiked the Pine Knob Loop across the street from camp. It's a great hike with some wonderful views. Here's Craig on the trail.

After a short but rather challenging hike, we had a nice stop for lunch with a beautiful view of the rolling hills of NW Connecticut & the Housatonic River below

Here's a picture of Sammie & I enjoying some more views on our hike.
