Wow, I can't believe it's already been a week, seems like Sammie just arrived yesterday! We went to the hospital at 4:30pm on Saturday, September 11
th and Sammie arrived at 12:56am on Sunday September 12
th. She weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and was 19.5" long. This is the first time I got to hold her right after she was born.

Craig & I right after Sammie arrived!

We stayed in the hospital for 2 days getting acquainted with our new addition, learning how to feed, change & give her baths. She slept most of the time in the hospital & we thought, wow this is great! Little did we know all that was about to change!

swaddle
Despite all the cute, peaceful, sleeping Sammie pictures, she wasn't like this all the time - sometimes there was crying - and sometimes there was
ALOT of crying. Grandma
Banas came for the first week to help Craig & I adjust and boy did we need her help! It made the week much easier to get through.

Sammie LOVES to sleep on Mommy & Daddy - she just lays there & is out in a matter of minutes!

This is Sammie all bundled up for her first walk around the neighborhood - she was quiet for most of it.

Tiny little Sammie in her swing - it's too big for her still but she'll grow into it soon enough.

More sleeping on Daddy - it's her favorite place to be

Today - September 20
th - Sammie had her first "tummy time" - she did a great job! Already picking up her little head!
