Sammie spent her first "mini-vacation" away from Mommy & Daddy and went to stay with Grandma Teri & Grandpa Bob for 2 whole days! Mommy & Daddy missed her very much, but she had lots of fun.
Grandma Teri came to our house to pick Sammie up on Thursday morning. Here is Sammie all snug in her carseat for the journey "over the river & through the woods" haha!
For such a little Sammie, there sure is a lot of stuff involved! Grandma's trunk was packed!
So much to unpack when they got to Mystic...
Sammie immediately got to work playing! She loves snacking on ribbons.
She spent lots of time in her jumper, she loves to jump! Mommy got her some cute new shoes at Target & she loves them!
Sammie is getting better at standing every day! She likes to hold onto things & stand like a big girl.
Sitting up reaching out to Grandma, Sammie says "Up"!
Auntie Kim came over for a visit & they played outside.
Grandma found a little lego horse that used to be Nick's, Sammie liked playing with it.
Playtime on the floor! Sammie loves to rollover & play with all her toys.
She even helped Grandma hang out the laundry!

She mastered the pincher grasp today & she was feeding herself puffs from the tray of her highchair after dinner tonight! It was so much fun to watch her, and she seemed so proud everytime she got a puff in her mouth.
Tomorrow she has a very special day planned with BOTH of her Grandma's!
Afterward she made her way over to the kitchen table & had some fun with the ties on the chairpad. She loves strings & ribbons.
We had a fun morning together!

When we got home we spent some time outside on the deck, exploring nature and enjoying the breeze. 
Sammie discovered the bamboo and enjoying touching it, she likes investigating new things. 
Sammie had a wonderful day, and we did too! 
Sammie loves to explore all the fun toys on her exersaucer. She is starting to try small bits of table foods, eventhough she doesn't have teeth yet, she loves her mango peach puffs, strawberries, banana & today she tried peas! Grandma Teri said she likes to munch on them and talk to them :)
